Our original “We’re All Little Aussies” program promoted the concept that “We are one, but we
are many” highlighting the many ‘Aussies’ ( be they of skin, feather, fur, fin or scale ) that call this
great continent Australia, ‘home’. It explored the interrelationship of living things and the importance of
maintaining a’ balance of nature’ within the limitations of prevailing technological and social changes..
This was done with a lot of help from our scaly Aussies and a peek into their lives, homes and lifestyles. Of course getting
to meet and greet them personally put it all into such clear perspective.

SOS Aussies continues to highlight the principles of living in harmony with our natural environment, including the venomous and dangerous. It expands the theme by exploring the fragility of our biodiversity in the light of evolving environmental, social and economic conditions and their effect on the eco-system and it’s species. Threatened, vulnerable, endangered and extinct species are a growing phenomena. There is one species however that can, through choice, make a positive impact on our world. No prize for guessing which species that is! SMALL STEPS TAKEN BY EACH ONE OF US CAN LEAD TO GIANT STRIDES. Just like the ripple effects of a stone thrown into a pond, the effects of our small actions can have a profound effect on other living things and this planet.
